BARON PORTABLE H2O POWERED EMERGENCY LIGHTING PRODUCTS

 

Sometimes something comes along which blows your expectations out of the Water, and recently we were contacted by a company which produces H20 Activated and Powered Emergency Lighting Products such as the BRYD 2.0 Emergency Torch and Light, as well as the BRNY001-H Emergency Reserve Power 10000mAh Power Brick and the Baron BRYD-M2 Multifunctional Reserve Emergency light, which comes with a Torch, Alarm, Siren Buzzer and FM Full Range Emergency Radio. 

Below is the BRYD 2.0 Emergency Torch which we got in to test, and loved so much we took on the Contract to sell and Distribute in New Zealand. 

 

Given how well the tests went on the first Emergency Torch, we have decided to bring in the other two items to test. We will be posting the videos on our YouTube and Instagram pages for all to see, as well as link them into this collection page for people to watch also. 

So what makes the Baron H2O Activated Emergency Lighting Products so amazing. 

Well, lets start with their shelf life. All the Baron Products we are looking to stock are powered with H2O Activated Batteries. The can last up to ten years in their original packaging, without degrading and are ready to use with the addition of a small amount of watery liquid. 

On the subject of that watery liquid, what makes this product unique, is that it can be activated with almost any watery liquid you can think of. Because of course during a disaster, access to clean water might be reduced or not available. These batteries can be activated with things such as Water, Salt Water, Juice, Milk, Sewerage or even urine. During out initial testing we used both saline water and expired eye drops. Both of them worked without issue and the Emergency Torch powered up instantly. 

When it comes to the liquid required, it is minimal, between 8mL and 20mL depening on the product to begin with, and then after 48 hours a second amount can be added to generate more power. Not only do you require minimal liquid to activate these, but they are designed to work in extreme environments, from -40 to plus 80 degrees celcius and as much as 4000 meters altitude. 

The items have been well tested through the EU ROHS Testing and are non-flammable and non exposive and can  be disposed of as general waste after use.
